Manifesto: Let's Get Radical

Astrology is a complex study of the positions, interactions, and vibrations of each planet within a given moment in time. There are an infinite number of ways to approach astrology, and I am dedicated using astrology to elevate our power, potential, and possibilities. These core beliefs shape my readings and interpretations:

You are as unique as the moment you were born. You are more than just your Sun sign. The positions of all of the planets — what makes your birth chart — are not repeated in the exact same way again for thousands of years, making it as unique as a fingerprint. Your radical individuality deserves to be seen and celebrated.

Stories shape reality. Astrology re-interprets the story we tell about ourselves. By re-interpreting our story, we allow new and expanded identities, beliefs, and values to blossom.

Get curious, stay curious. Questions open the door to new insights. Follow the spirit of inquiry with openness and humility to expand our notions of what is possible. 

We are connected to everything. We are in constant relationship with the earth and with each other. Every action has an impact, big or small, visible or opaque, simple or complicated, for better or for worse. Tend the connections. We are never alone. 

Embrace complexity. We are universes made of every moment that we have lived; every moment that our ancestors have lived; and every moment that our descendants will live. Defy singular labels, essentialist categories, and reductive interpretations, because they cannot fathom your wholeness.

Be bold and visionary. Speak your truth, your power, and your radical vision for a liberated future. We need it and you.

Beauty matters. Beauty is nourishment, comfort, hope, and survival. Cultivate it wholeheartedly.

Move with spaciousness and ease. Give yourself the space to breathe and the permission to slow down. Time can be divine if you let it.

There is no justice without compassion, empathy, and care. The movement towards justice is the systemic pursuit of taking care of each other. Recognize when social justice values perpetuate patterns of harm and prioritize human dignity over ideology.

Don’t take yourself too seriously. Being human is hard. None of us have the answers, and we are all trying our best amidst mind-boggling circumstances. Given that, smile, laugh, swear, and bust out a shameless dance move every once in a while! It’s so good for you and for the universe.
